Northside is excited to announce its First Annual  Day of Champions Festival! Mark your calenders now and plan to bring your whole family for the day.  This fun event celebrates the great Spring Season for all of Northside's players and families!  Activities will include:

  • Division Championship Games
  • Skills Challenge Competition and Finals for each division
  • Activities and Games for players and families
  • Sponsor Tents
  • Moon Bounce
  • Coach Dunk Tank
  • Inflatable Obstacle Course

Summer Baseball Camps Available in Our Area!

Spring Season is coming to an end for Northside - if you are looking for more opportunities for your player to improve their baseball skills, check out these local baseball camps:

T.E.A.M.S. Offering Summer Baseball Camps in June, July and August

Ages- 7-10
Dates: June 15-19, July 13-17, August 24-28
Location: T.E.A.M.S. Training Center facility, 442 Westfield Rd. Charlottesville, VA 22901

What sets T.E.A.M.S. 5-Tool Baseball Camps apart from the others?
T
.E.A.M.S. keeps a low player-to-coach to ensure each player receives personal attention and experiences improvements in their performance.

Also, all coaches TALK about the importance of speed, yet there are few coaches that instruct the players in improving their speed. This is the 5th tool that T.E.A.M.S. stresses each day of our camp.

The Baseball Co. Little League Summer Camp

When: June 15th - 19th
Time: 9am - 12pm
Where: McIntire Park (Baseball Company for rain)
Ages: 7-12 (players will be separated based on skill level)
Cost: $300

In this camp, we will be using group and individual based instruction for all skill levels and abilities within certain age restrictions. No matter if it's your first year getting to know the game or you are a seasoned veteran, our camp has something to teach you. Dividing the groups into different skill levels, mainly by age, we will first start learning perfect fundamentals before moving on to more advanced techniques within the game. We will be covering everything from proper warm-up, hitting techniques, fielding, pitching and catching.

The Dugout is offering Summer Camps!

Campers will work to improve their:

Hitting   Pitching    Bunting    Game Knowledge

Northside is a volunteer run league - we could not be successful without the help of Northside Families and Community Members!

Each Northside Family is asked to meet a minimum volunteer requirement of 2 hours.  Already volunteered for Northside?  Click here to log your hours.

Carson Raymond Field Proposed Lights Project

Northside Cal Ripken League has begun the process to obtain approval to put field lights up on Carson Raymond Field.  Want more information?  Download our fact sheet here.

Level I ($300) includes company name across the back of the team shirt and a commemorative plaque OR your company name and logo on a 4’x 6’ or 3’x 8’ durable outdoor banner and a commemorative plaque. Printing includes: full unlimited color company logo with up to 10 words.

Level II ($500) includes your company name and logo on a 4’x 6’ or 3’x 8’ durable outdoor banner. Printing includes: full unlimited color company logo with up to 10 words. Additionally, we will put your company name across the back of the team shirt and you will receive a commemorative plaque.

Northside Cal Ripken League accepts registration from boys and girls who will be four (4) years old before May 1, 2015 and who will not be thirteen (13) years old before May 1, 2015, and who live within the following elementary school districts: Agnor-Hurt, Cale, Hollymead, Stone-Robinson, Baker-Butler, City of Charlottesville Red Hill (east of Rt.29), Stony Point, Broadus Wood, Greer, Scottsville, & Woodbrook.
